I'm not one to publicly bash a doctor, but Dr. Eisenhuth with Geisinger Pediatrics has me FIRED UP. I took my daughter into the office on a Friday after having a high fever for a day and a half and being very lethargic. Her regular Pediatrician wasn't there so we saw Dr. Eisenhuth. I explained what was going on and thought maybe it was her ears or throat. She said it wasn't uncommon for babies to have UTI's with only a fever as a symptom. She tried to cath her twice without any success. She tried to collect urine with three bags also without any success (we did get a single drop which was enough to run a urinalysis in office). That came back positive for blood and leukocytes. This was almost 5 hours into the visit. We left that appointment with no real answers. In my head it was clear as day a UTI. Positive blood & leukocytes and fever of almost 104. Dr. Eisenhuth said it was most likely Enterovirus and she really didn't think it was a UTI. She told me if I was that concerned we could make a follow up appt for Monday. I told her I wasn't waiting all weekend so they squeezed me in on Saturday morning. 5 stars! Grays Woods, yesterday’s colonoscopy was straight-up top-notch. They handled my rear end with the kind of tender, loving care you usually only get in fairy tales. The whole team was incredible, but special shoutout to the anesthetic nurse, Sagittarius energy. I’m a Libra, so the stars were never gonna align anyway. Strict “no dating patients” policy, plus she got to see the raw, pre-anesthesia version of me… and let’s be honest, that’s not exactly first-date material. When they put me under I apparently launched into a rendition of “Puff the Magic Dragon.” The entire surgical room lost it laughing. Best colonoscopy I’ve ever had (and the only one, but still). 10/10, zero notes. I’ll see you all again in exactly ten years.

I can honestly say that my experience here has been very pleasant and professional. I needed seen in a timely manner, they got me in. The Doctors and all the staff are all very friendly and took the time to answer my questions. My first time here I brought my mother in law for her apt, so we just went in and sat down in a waiting area. It was getting past her apt time and she was getting a little worried. They took the time to come find her, we were on the wrong floor she uses a cane and even though she was a little late, they were not rude and they didn't rush her. Thank You !

I will never go back to their orthopedic department ever again. I'm done with them. They said there was nothing they could do for me and I went somewhere else.
